Plea from a cat named Jason
Sep. 27th, 2007 02:57 pmThis morning the Hartford Courant published a CD review (third one down) by a certain somebody. A certain bald somebody, with a penchant for belabored and melodramatic prose.
Anyway, this particular album is very good, as is most of the Weakerthans' literate alt-rock catalog. So I am tickled pink that the band is playing the 9:30 Club on Sunday, October 28. (And don't worry, middle-aged rockers, it's an early show -- doors 5 p.m.) The opening act features the Last Town Chorus, fronted by Eric Danton afficionado and inveterate flirt Megan Hickey.
Tickets are only $15. Who wants to go with me? I'll be your best friend.
