Paint the house red
Mar. 1st, 2007 02:36 pmI am calling all D.C. area friends and calling on whatever favors I may have in the bank:
My parents are coming to visit me April 6th through the 8th. This will be the third time they've visited their son in the nation's capital, and while I am sure hanging out with me never gets old, after repeated trips this historic city's magic has otherwise lost much of its luster.
The one thing my parents have said they want to do is go on a tour of the White House. OK, fine. But inexplicably, White House tours are open only to 10 people or more. This is where you come in.
I don't need money, advice or help. I just need at least seven of you to volunteer to come with me and my parents on a White House tour on Friday, April 6 or Saturday, April 7. My parents are nice people. And they have been known to buy ice cream for good children.
Please let me know if you can do me this favor. The family will look upon it with great appreciation.
