I can't even explain how much I love this place.

Bad Headline?

Is the bad headline thar's bothersome? Or do you really "love this place?" I can't tell

I was surprised to read that article is actually about how people in Rochester who gave time and money to help all those affected by tsunami, earthquake, hurricane, locusts, cattle disease and killing of the first born.

"Instead of waiting for Christmas to remember the less fortunate, this year people gave the gift of themselves all year long."

I think the article makes a good point that we need to be generous and kind, not just when we're guilted into it by feel-good holiday TV specials, but all year round.

It's a dopey headline, which is part of the reason why I like it. It is quintessential Rochester -- well-meaning, kind, a little slow, unremarkable except in its simplicity. Maybe I'm just feeling nostalgic.
