Is it just me, or …

… Does anyone else think all food tastes best at a public market?

… Has anyone else noticed that Ed Bradley's earring looks patently ridiculous?

… Does anyone else wonder why motorists slow down when they see that a cop has pulled over another vehicle on the side of the road? Doesn't that seem like an ideal time to speed, when the police officer is occupied writing a ticket for someone else?

… Does it seem like a lot of these bags with handles and wheels seem small enough to just pick up and carry?

… Has anyone else found that people seem to show a notable lack of confidence when attempting to pronounce the word "asterisk"?

… Is anyone else still unsure whether the phrase is "For all intents and purposes" or "For all intensive purposes"?

... Does it seem illogical for rappers such as Dr. Dre and Eminem to say to their critics, "If you don't like me, blow me"?

… Does anyone else think it's funny that a guy named "Scooter" Libby has to walk around on crutches?

… Has watching "Lost" made anyone else extremely nervous about the prospect of packing for even the smallest airplane trip?

… Does anyone else find it amusing when a Metro car stops, all the people let go of their poles, and then the car moves again and the people all flop all over the place?

… Do other people in the Northern Virginia/D.C. area see planes overhead and wait for them to explode or crash into something?

Just me, huh? Okay, never mind.

I'm not sure why that's illogical. It's not a literal invitation, it's the equivalent of telling them, "kiss my ass." Or perhaps you prefer Jay-Z, who points out that haters who don't like his lyrics that they can "press fast-forward."

Maybe, but it doesn't fit the rhyme scheme as well. Plus, they might like the lyrics further along on the record. Jay-Z is all about offering you a choice.
